New Trustees Appointed to Trust
Lesley Lee and Flora Moxon bring diverse experience, a love of Northumberland and a shared passion for bringing people and information together.
Lesley is a retired librarian, whose varied career as a librarian, combined with a passion for travel, has taken her to Bangkok, Thailand and Istanbul. Today you will find her welcoming visitors to Newcastle cathedral and helping visitors to find their ancestors mentioned on the large collection of ledger stones in the cathedral. She is also the membership secretary of the Friends of St Nicholas at the Cathedral.
Flora began her career as an archivist in the Hampshire Archives Service, thereafter moving to Canada and working as Ottawa’s city archivist. A career transition to international human resources management led to 25 years living and working across continents – in Europe, North America, China and Africa. Today, she lives in England’s most northerly town, Berwick Upon Tweed and feels privileged to contribute to organisations that are working tirelessly to preserve and promote the rich heritage of this beautiful part of the world.
Lesley and Flora will focus on further strengthening The Trust’s communication with its many stakeholders and building a strong membership.
